Community Guidelines

Dear Heart was created to be a calm, respectful, and supportive space for conversation, reflection, and emotional expression. To help protect the experience for everyone, we ask all users to follow these Community Guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat others with kindness and respect. Do not harass, threaten, bully, shame, or intentionally hurt others. Dear Heart is meant to be a safe and emotionally supportive environment.

2. No Hate or Discrimination

Content promoting hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups is not allowed. This includes attacks based on race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or personal identity.

3. No Harmful or Illegal Content

Do not use Dear Heart to promote violence, encourage self-harm, exploit others, share illegal content, commit fraud, or engage in unlawful activities. We may remove content or restrict access when necessary for platform safety.

4. Do Not Impersonate Others

Do not pretend to be another person, a public figure, a professional, or an organization you are not authorized to represent. Authenticity helps maintain trust within the platform.

5. Respect Emotional Boundaries

Dear Heart is intended for supportive and healthy conversation. Avoid manipulative behavior, emotional exploitation, abusive language, or intentionally triggering content. We encourage users to communicate thoughtfully and responsibly.

6. Use AI Responsibly

AI-generated responses are automated and imperfect. Users should not attempt to manipulate the AI maliciously, exploit system weaknesses, generate harmful content, or misuse the platform in unsafe ways.

7. Protect Your Privacy

Please avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information such as passwords, banking details, government identification numbers, or confidential information. While Dear Heart aims to protect user privacy, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

8. Crisis and Emergency Situations

    ⚠️ Dear Heart is not an emergency or crisis intervention service. If you or someone else may be in danger, please contact local emergency services, a licensed professional, or a trusted person immediately.
  

9. Reporting and Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently restrict access for behavior that violates these guidelines or threatens the safety of the platform or its users.

10. A Supportive Space

Dear Heart is built around empathy, calm conversation, reflection, and emotional support. We encourage users to speak kindly, support one another, and help create a space where people feel heard, respected, and less alone.

Not every conversation needs to be perfect. Sometimes people simply need a quiet space to express themselves honestly. Our goal is to help Dear Heart remain a calm and respectful environment where users can reflect, connect, and breathe a little easier.
